The Hotel Salinera is situated in a wonderful location in its own grounds overlooking the bay of Strunjan on the Slovenian coast. There are many possibilities for coastal walks - along the cliffs to Piran (I hour) and across the salt lagoons to Belvedere (I hour round walk) with views across the sea to Italy.The hotel is large, modern and reasonably comfortable.

Breakfast was a bit of a scrum. On the first day there were lots of (well-behaved) schoolchildren. On the third day there was a Hari Krishna festival with between 50 and 80 orange-robed followers, fresh from chanting in the grounds. It's best to check beforehand what events are going on.

The SPA services (specifically, the massage) were wonderful!

The staff (except for one receoptionist) are were serious - smiling and welcome feeling is obviously not included in the price.

One of the best things about this hotel is its location. Situated in a national park, it is nestled in a quiet area with direct access to the beach. The beach itself is quite big and offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun. It is a great spot for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful getaway.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were more than satisfactory.

The hotel grounds are very well kept and clean. The view over the bay is lovely and totally unspoilt from high rise buildings. Resturant Lambada a 10 min walk away gives you a very good view back over the bay and of the hotel. Great place!

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in a quiet area with direct access to a beautiful beach. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, as it was situated in a national park with stunning views. The hotel offered great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail throughout. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with air conditioning that worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay even during the summer months. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit different preferences.

Hotel in a prime location, has a large area relatively with other hotels in Slovenia. Convenient free parking is on two floors. A nice restaurant and good breakfast menu.

Not very well equipped beach. Not enough showers. One shower and one fee. Regularly in the mornings from 6:00 to 7:30 am in the vicinity of the hotel worked out loud some mechanism and disturb sleep. At 8:30, when there will not have time for lunch, were cleaning the room. But cleaned well.

The Bioenergy Resort Salinera Hotel is a hidden gem in a quiet area with direct access to a beautiful beach. Quiet location, nice view, the garden, clean.

This a great location along the coast in West Slovenia; however, there is not much to do except enjoy the beach and the pools in the resort. The grass for sunbathing was nice, but was not well maintained or watered due to the drought. This appeared to be a kid and family friendly resort. It was nice to have free parking for the guests.

This is another resort that adds a surcharge for the spa. Why not include the spa as part of the hotel benefits? The pool area is nice but very slippery. Would have liked a jacuzzi that was actually hot rather than luke warm. Since there are no nearby restaurants, guests are almost forced to use the resort for dinner. The resort provides a buffet which was not high in quality and a bit more expensive than the value of the meal. It was difficult to get the attention of the waiter to order drinks. There was an additional surcharge for internet in the room, which is not usually the case in most quality European hotels these days, though there was free wireless in the lobby.

The location is amazing, just a short walk from Piran and Portoroz. We loved the fact that it had its own beach in a quiet area that allowed us to relax during our stay. the food was another highlight, we enjoyed the variety of choices and everything we tasted was delicious. Finally, we appreciated the friendly staff, always ready to help and smiling.

The rooms were a bit outdated, but still clean and comfortable. the prices for drinks were on the expensive side, and not even water was offered for free during dinner.

Front desk was very accomodating.

At the pool you had to rent an pool chair. There were no pool towels. We have never been somewhere were there were no towels. Some of the staff were rude..

We had a great time at this hotel on the Slovenian coast. The location was one of the best aspects as we had direct access to a big beach. The hotel was also located in a quiet area that felt safe. Furthermore, the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast had good choices and staff were always friendly.
